In the middle of December 2009 the Russian representative office of “Palladio Interiors” company jointly with Rudolf Kampf manufactory summed up the interior design contest between students of leading specialized universities.
Students were suggested to create the project on the basis of 1 of 2 existing objects in Moscow:
- Young girl flat, 70 sq m
- Young family flat, 150 sq m
The essential condition of the contest – participants must present their projects as map-boards with drafts and 3D visualization of chosen room. It was totally 60 student’s projects from 13 cities.
Only 10 students reached the final, they presented their projects to jury.
Anastasia Kesheeva –the student of the faculty of architecture of ISTU (Irkutsk State Technical University)- ranked the 3rd prize – Rudolf Kampf porcelain set from ZN collection. The 2nd prize was ranked by students of the 5th course of Moscow Institute of Architecture - Demina Elena and Kropivko Anna. They were awarded with tea pair from Dali collection. The 1st prize (Flora de Cora tea pair) was taken by students of 6th course of Moscow Institute of Architecture - Pojhidaev Denis and Afonichkin Alexey.
Anna Korotkevich won the grand-prix of the contest – trip to Italy, where she will visit the Palladio Interiors factory. Anna is a student of the 5th course of Moscow Institute of Architecture, she developed interior design project on the basis of radial pattern and “fan” conception.
Special jury award won the student of International design school – Kseniya Uvarova. Her project was marked by one of the members of jury, famous designer Fabricio Smania.
All the projects at the contest were of a very high professional level. Contest organizers – Rudolf Kampf and Palladio interiors factory representatives, are sure, that next year this contest will evoke a wide response among young designers, architects and decorators.
